House B transforms an existing London home into a calm, light-filled family environment, shaped by a clearer relationship between interior spaces and the garden beyond.
The design focuses on reworking the ground floor to create a more generous and legible plan. Carefully positioned openings bring daylight deep into the home, while improving views and movement between kitchen, dining and living spaces. The result is a layout that supports everyday family life while remaining composed and uncluttered.
Material choices are deliberately understated, allowing light, proportion and spatial rhythm to define the character of the home. The boundary between inside and outside is softened, encouraging a natural connection to the garden and reinforcing a sense of openness without sacrificing privacy.
House B demonstrates how measured architectural intervention can significantly improve the experience of a home — prioritising comfort, clarity and long-term liveability over visual statement.
